About Lisa McLamb

Meet Lisa, a lifelong learner and dedicated individual who has made a significant impact through her teaching, volunteering, and community involvement. Lisa's journey is truly inspiring, with a fascinating backstory that includes a chance encounter in Australia and a commitment to making a difference.

With an impressive educational background, Lisa holds a Master's in Elementary Education from Wilmington University and a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts from San Jose State University. This strong foundation has propelled her career as an educator for over a decade, where she has taught kindergarten, English as a Second Language (ESL) students, and children with autism.

But Lisa's contributions don't stop there. She has also found time to be an active part of her community. After settling in Texas with her husband Buck and their two boys, Levi and River, Lisa has taken on a role as a realtor. In addition, she will dedicate her time to volunteering at Safe Families, a charitable organization that supports kids in need of foster care.

 Lisa also finds solace and fulfillment on her farm in Driftwood, Texas. She cares for miniature cows, their pig, chickens, dogs, and bees and nurtures her garden during her free time. Lisa's hobbies also include training, volunteering, reading, and, most importantly, spending quality time with her family, including helping out with Levi and River's wrestling team.

When asked about what she loves most about Texas, Lisa emphasizes the warm and welcoming family environment, coupled with a multitude of activities at your fingertips. Her enthusiasm for her home state is contagious, and she strives to help others find their dream homes alongside her partner, Buck.

As Lisa continues to make a difference with her passion for education, volunteer work, and community support, she offers valuable advice to those embarking on their career path: "Keep God first, follow their heart and dreams, keep learning, and don't be afraid to try something new."
